A native of Oklahoma, Bill was an editor for a produce trade publication in the mid 1970s when Congress began addressing issues relating to what led to the deregulation of the trucking and other transportation industries. As transportation editor he studied, learned and wrote about many facets of trucking and its affect on growers, shippers, receivers, and carriers – as well as the owner operators driving the big rigs.
He also provide trucking reports for 20 years. At one time he was on 60 radio stations across the U.S. and Canada and then later for 4 years on satellite radio.
